SGEM plant has a certified manufacturing testing laboratory equipped with modern equipment, which makes it possible not only to carry out quality control of the welding joints in accordance with the requirements of normative and technical documents, but also digitize the data received. The maximum laboratory equipment makes it possible to carry out ultrasonic, visual and dimensional, capillary, magnetic and radiographic testing, with issuing a complete set of corresponding documents.

The laboratory has unique modern expensive equipment at its disposal. For example, Cimcore 75 series portable coordinate measuring machine, which makes it possible to measure and control fine-resolution geometrics of semi-finished products, piping assemblies and other products. ISONIC 2010 flaw detector is a unique combination of phased array technology and it ensures 100% raw data recording and imaging, which makes it possible to carry out ultrasonic testing of welding joints correctly and as precisely as possible. It also enables to clearly classify the flaws.
